Meetings
Every call, captured. Nothing joins it.
Aside turns any meeting on your computer into a live transcript, an instant summary and a clear list of action items — with no notetaker in the room, no calendar connection, and nothing visible when you share your screen.
Windows & macOS · Unlimited meetings on Pro
Sample call · Nothing joined it · Hidden from every screen share
Why no bot matters
The notetaker everyone else ships has to be let in
Otter, Fireflies and Fathom all dial into the call as a participant. That means asking permission, a name in the list, and a client who can see you are recording them. Aside listens to the audio your computer is already playing.
Nothing to admit
Aside listens to your computer's own audio. There is no bot in the participant list, so nobody has to approve a stranger into a client call.
No calendar connection
Other notetakers want access to your whole calendar to know where to show up. Aside just listens to the machine it runs on.
Every platform, including the ones with no integration
Zoom, Meet, Teams, Slack huddles, a browser dial-in, a phone call on speaker. If the audio comes out of your computer, it is captured.
Invisible when you present
The window is excluded from screen capture at the OS level, so your notes never appear in what you are sharing.
What you get
A transcript is the start, not the deliverable
Live transcript
Watch the conversation transcribe as it happens, split by speaker turn, with names rather than 'Speaker 1'.
Summary on hang-up
A tight paragraph of what was actually decided, ready to paste into Slack or an email, the moment the call ends.
Action items with owners
Who committed to what, and by when — pulled from what people said rather than from a template.
Ask your calls
Search every saved meeting and ask it anything. "What did we agree on the budget?" is answered straight from the transcript.
Listen-only mode
Capture just the other side of the call if you would rather your own voice was never processed.
Echo removal
Works on speakers, not only headphones, without transcribing the room twice.
Save, export or discard
Keep a meeting, download it, or throw it away. Anything you keep, you can delete permanently later.
Push it onward
Send the summary and action items to Slack, Notion or your CRM instead of copying them by hand.
Where people use it
Any call you would otherwise take notes in
- Sales & client calls
- Every commitment captured, so the follow-up email writes itself and nothing agreed on a Friday gets forgotten by Monday.
- Standups & syncs
- Miss one and read it in ninety seconds. The action items are the whole point of the meeting anyway.
- User research
- Stop splitting attention between listening and note-taking. The transcript is searchable across every session afterwards.
- Handovers
- The long call where someone explains a system becomes a document you can actually go back to.
